This is a Weeks cover from minä perhonen, a brand that creates timeless, all-original garment textiles that are specially dyed, embroidered, and woven to recreate hand-drawn designs.

Birds and butterflies are nestled alongside flowers in this design named “felice,” which depicts living beings sharing joy with one another, as if each creature’s existence is a celebration of life itself. The textile is captivating in its sense of depth, with the folksy touch of woodblock printing and the interplay of light and shadow created by the embroidery.

The fabric is a soft cotton-wool blend embroidered with blue thread, giving it a pleasing texture you can feel beneath your fingertips.

The inner lining of the cover is light blue. The pen hook is designed to hold a pen by its clip. The zipper pull is made out of natural leather, and the butterfly-shaped fastening adds a cute touch.

This is a cover that will quietly accompany you through each precious day.

First founded in 1995 under the name minä, and renamed “minä perhonen” in 2003. In Finnish, “minä” means “I,” and “perhonen” means “butterfly,” expressing Minagawa’s hopes to create designs as light-hearted and beautiful as a butterfly’s flapping wings.

Using the pen hook: This pen holder works by holding the clip of a pen. Certain pen sizes or shapes may make it difficult to close the cover zipper.
