A slim and portable weekly techo
The Weeks is a slim, long wallet-sized planner that is light and portable. It has a weekly horizontal layout with the weekly pages on the left and grid memo pages on the right. Each weekly spread also contains the characteristic “Daily Quote” on the bottom of the page. The book holds plenty of graph-ruled memo pages for note-taking at the end of the book. There are a variety of cover designs available to choose from.

Weekly Calendar & Memo Pages

  • 2-dot timeline
    The 2-dot timeline features two dots that divide the daily space into three sections. You can use it in various ways, such as drawing lines using the dots as a guide to separate the space into morning, afternoon, and evening.
  • Week number
    The pages include week numbers to show which week of the year it is, counting from the beginning of the year.
    *The week numbers follow the ISO 8601 international standard.
  • Moon phase and Rokuyo
    The moon phase visible in Japan on that day is illustrated. The full moon (○) and new moon (●) are marked with stars to indicate their peak.
  • Memo page
    The right page on each weekly spread contains a graph paper memo page, which can also be divided into seven sections to correspond with the weekly schedule. At 3.55 mm, the grid size is slightly smaller than that of the Original and Cousin.
  • The “Secret Line”
    On the left side of the memo page, there is a subtle vertical line that lets you organize the page however you like, such as tasks on the left and notes on the right. Printed in a light shade, they remain unobtrusive when not in use.
  • Daily quote
    Since its launch in 1998, the Hobonichi website has been updated daily. One carefully selected quote from the site's extensive collection of content is included for each week.
  • Mini calendar
    The weekly page also includes a mini monthly calendar at the bottom right of every two-page spread. The week of the current pages is outlined.

The graph paper design is lightly printed across the entire page, making it easy to write down plans and take notes. The color scheme is charcoal gray and red.

Yearly index
The Yearly Index is designed for long-term planning and tracking, with one entire year laid out in a full-page spread. The top of each monthly column includes seven blank lines for you to use as you see fit.

Memo page

Memo page
The back of the book includes plenty of 3.55 mm graph paper memo pages, with page numbers printed on the edges. The Weeks Mega contains about three times the amount of memo pages as the regular Weeks.
Bonus Pages
The back of the book features bonus pages that are fun to read and write in. In addition to classic favorites like “My 100,” new pages are added annually.

Another key feature is its durability. It's designed to withstand a full year of use, not only with repeated opening and closing but also with the extra bulk from papers, ticket stubs, and other items you paste into it.
Stress-free by opening flat 180 degrees
The techo features a thread-stitch binding where the pages are sewn with thread along the spine. This allows the book to lay completely flat, making it easy to write in.

A flexible design that’s easy on the eyes
The color tones and thickness of the lines are specially designed to be easy on the eyes and not get in the way of your writing.
Rounded corners
The page corners are rounded to minimize creasing and damage to the edges when carried around or stored in a bag.
