You might just crack a smile if you lock eyes with one of these mid-knit. These knitting markers feature a sloth with a gentle expression, designed based on hand-drawn illustrations by Mikuni.



A knitting marker (stitch marker) is used to mark stitches or rows as you work. Because they can be clipped on, they can be used both as row counter markers and as stitch rings. Thread one onto a needle to use it as a stitch ring, or clip it like a safety pin at a convenient break in your knitting or pattern to use it as a row marker.



Mikuni shared her thoughts on this item: “My first reaction was, ‘It’s so tiny!’ I was amazed that the sloth’s entire body fits into such a small marker. But when it comes to knitting markers, something small and unobtrusive is exactly what you need.



“The hook part is its arms, and at the lower right you’ll find its face, which is upside down. I’m sure everyone who buys one will stare at it for a good twenty seconds or so before suddenly exclaiming, ‘Ohhhh, I see it now!’”



The set includes five knitting markers in pale pink and five in beige. Their soft, sleepy expressions belie just how dependable these little markers are.
