A global pop icon and a driving force behind Japan’s “kawaii” culture, Hello Kitty has been loved across generations and borders. From a collaboration between Hello Kitty and the Hobonichi Techo, we have made pencil boards to match three sizes of techos. Featuring the “Hello Kitty Classic” design that has been popular since her debut in the 1970s, it depicts Kitty striking special poses unique to the Hobonichi Techo.



The My Room design for the A6 size captures a happy moment with Kitty surrounded by her favorite things, like apples and milk. Kitty putting a techo on her head with a somewhat goofy look is irresistibly cute. The back features a bright, pop finish in vitamin yellow, scattered with her iconic ribbons.



The Picnic design for the A5 size shows Kitty enjoying a picnic under a blue sky with her twin sister Mimmy, who wears a yellow ribbon. With Kitty holding a pencil and Mimmy holding a techo, you can’t help but wonder if they are chatting about what to write next. The back is scattered with plenty of apples — Kitty’s ultimate happy icon.



The Toy Box design for the Weeks size is packed with Hello Kitty’s treasured belongings, including stuffed animals, tulips, a paintbrush, and a palette. If you look closely, you might even spot a Hobonichi Techo! The back features a crisp, fresh design of tulips blooming in a green field.



One side is labeled by millimeter to act as a metric ruler, and a “Today” tab on the corner marks the current page if you’d like to use it as a bookmark as well.



All three sizes depict cheerful, everyday moments from Hello Kitty’s world. Pair them with the Hello Kitty techo cover or Weeks for a delightful accent throughout your techo.
