This item was made in collaboration with ONE PIECE magazine, a publication that dives deep into the world of the manga One Piece. It’s a special One Piece edition of the HON, with a quote from One Piece on each daily page.
To celebrate the Year of the Sheep in 2027, the cover features the Going Merry, the ship that carries the Straw Hat Crew on their voyages. Wrapped in a bold, cheerful orange cover, the techo is designed to feel like a light hardcover book with some give to it. The year 2027 is foil-pressed in silver.
Woven intricately into the glossy necktie fabric, you’ll find the Merry’s figurehead looking straight ahead and at an angle from above. Some versions show Luffy hugging the figurehead or Zoro taking a nap on deck. The pattern also features the mast, the Jolly Roger, the tangerine tree, the Going Merry logo, and sometimes even the Klabautermann of the Merry!
(The pattern placement varies from item to item. Please note that the pattern on the actual product may differ from what is shown in the images.)

Each daily page features a quote selected from Volumes 1 through 113 of One Piece, organized by monthly themes:
“Straw Hat Crew,” “The Two Wings (Zoro & Sanji),” “ASL (Ace, Sabo & Luffy),” “Young Generation,” “Middle Generation,” “Elder Generation,” “Heroines,” “Animals,” “Rivals,” and “Humor” — bringing together memorable quotes from a diverse wide cast of beloved characters.
And for the first time ever, the December pages feature quotes from the creator himself, Eiichiro Oda. These quotes have been carefully selected from a range of sources, including ONE PIECE magazine, the “SBS” reader Q&A columns found in the manga volumes, and the Color Walk series of art books.
Carefully chosen quotes appear at the bottom of each daily page, along with source information so you can look up which volume or chapter the quote is from.
Above each quote, a “B” (for Birthday) marker notes which character celebrates their birthday on that day. This covers all character birthdays revealed as of Volume 113. The birthdays of all ten members of the Straw Hat Crew are accompanied by an illustration next to the date.
The first page of every month is features a title and illustration that reflects the theme for that month.
At the back, you’ll find special bonus pages exclusive to this techo, created under the direction of the ONE PIECE magazine editorial team.

Note: The One Piece techo is only available in the January/Monday-start format.
Just like the standard edition, this techo opens flat at 180 degrees thanks to the thread-stitched binding. The pages are made of thin and light Tomoe River paper printed with a 3.7 mm grid for easy reading. It includes a yearly calendar, yearly index, monthly calendars (Monday start), daily pages, memo pages, and more.
The techo is also available in a special One Piece edition with an original cover. (Only the cover is different — everything on the inside is the same.)

The ONE PIECE magazine x Hobonichi Techo collaboration includes a rich lineup of exclusive techo covers, Weeks techos, HON editions, and stationery items. We hope you find the perfect combination for you. See the full ONE PIECE magazine lineup here.
Just like the Going Merry forging ahead across the open seas, we hope you’ll take this HON with you everywhere and fill it with the story of your own great adventure.

The Tomoe River paper designed for planners is known for its thinness and smooth writing surface. However, depending on the type and amount of ink or pen used—as well as environmental conditions—some ink may bleed through or take longer to dry. We recommend testing your pens on an inconspicuous area first, or using a pencil board or blotting paper for best results.
