This small tote bag is made with the same textile used in the minä perhonen Hobonichi Techo skyful (Yellow) cover. The bag is big enough to fit a Hobonichi Techo Cousin along with your wallet and any other personal items you’ll need when you’re out.

“skyful” is a textile design that first appeared in the Hobonichi Techo lineup in 2014 and was very popular. This time, the color scheme was specifically created for the Hobonichi Techo cover, which depicts a sky full of stars made from colorful, brightly embroidered dots.

The base material is a soft cotton fabric. Two different types of thread were used for the embroidery, creating both a tactile, bumpy texture and a difference in lustre between the two.

The “skyful (Yellow)” tote bag is something you can carry with you every day, likely to bring a sense of calm. We also recommend using this bag with a matching techo cover.

minä perhonen is a brand created by designer Akira Minagawa.

First founded in 1995 under the name minä, and renamed “minä perhonen” in 2003. In Finnish, “minä” means “I,” and “perhonen” means “butterfly,” expressing Minagawa’s hopes to create designs as light-hearted and beautiful as a butterfly’s flapping wings.
