The work of iyo okumi, the embroidery artist and illustrator behind the design A Story About Me for the Hobonichi Techo cover and Weeks, has been turned into transparent die-cut stickers.
Inspired by a vibrant garden, fourteen small embroidery works, such as flowering plants, insects, and fruit baskets, have been chosen for these stickers.
One is of a pair of swans that rest quietly in an oval shape, and another showcases roses and butterflies in a round sticker with an exotic flair. Two types of large, unique planter-shaped stickers depict what might be a flower arrangement or some bonsai, making for a total of eighteen stickers.
They come as sticker flakes in a transparent pack.
These are small fragments that bring okumi’s work to life―use the small stickers for days where something good happened, and the large ones for those extra special days, spreading a mystical and vibrant world across your techo.
Other items in the lineup of iyo okumi’s collaboration includes the techo, a Pencil Board and a Brief Message Memo, use these to match your stickers.
Embroidery artist and illustrator. Creates simple and romantic artwork using embroidery and colored pencils. Works mainly through exhibitions.
