Moomin is the beloved series created in 1945 by Finnish author, painter, and artist Tove Jansson. This clear stamp set features illustrations of characters and items from the Moomin comics.
The set includes stamp parts and an acrylic base, so you can arrange any parts you like on the base to create your own layout. The pieces are reusable—stick them on, peel them off, and enjoy mixing and matching different combinations.
Made from transparent acrylic, the stamp allows you to clearly see the inked areas, so you can align it perfectly with the graph lines in your Hobonichi Techo.
The designs were selected with techos in mind, and many are ideal for use as frames or dividers. For example, you can write a date or message inside the frame below Moominpappa or on the sign Little My is holding. Use pencils, canes, and other small items as decorative lines or separators.
Have fun using them on your Hobonichi Techo’s monthly or daily pages, as well as on letters, notes, and message cards.
The Moomin lineup also includes plenty of coordinating stationery items you can enjoy together.
Tove Jansson (1914-2001) was a Finnish-Swedish writer and artist, who achieved worldwide fame as the creator of the stories about the Moomins, written and illustrated between 1945 and 1977. The Moomin family and their friends live an adventurous life in the idyllic and peaceful Moominvalley in harmony with nature. They are a family of white and roundish trolls with large snouts.
