This ink-absorbing paper helps prevent ink from fountain pens and other pens from smudging or transferring onto other pages. Made with thick, fast-drying, highly absorbent paper, it soaks up excess ink with ease.



The front of each sheet features an illustration from Moominsummer Madness, a novel in the Moomin series created by Finnish author, painter, and artist Tove Jansson.

It shows Moominpappa struggling to write a play script, with Moomintroll watching over him with concern. Below the illustration is a message in Finnish:

“Write as much as you like.”



These sheets are printed using traditional letterpress printing, giving them a textured surface and slight variations in ink coverage that make each one unique and full of character.



The set includes 10 sheets, sized to fit neatly in any Hobonichi Techo book, including the Original, Cousin, and Weeks.

In addition to fountain pens, they're great for use with wet ink pens, stamps, and seals. They also make lovely cards for leaving short messages.
