TamagotchiOur TamagotchiWeeks Hardcover Book / Weekly Horizontal / ENG or JPN edition / Jan start / Mon start

  • 2026 New

A Hobonichi Techo born from a collaboration with the digital handheld pet Tamagotchi, which took the world by storm after its 1996 release. The series, which celebrates its 30th anniversary in 2026, continues to be loved across generations. This Weeks is designed to spark fond memories for those who took care of their own digital pet in the past, but also to bring joy to those who are still lovingly caring for theirs today.

Our Tamagotchi is a Weeks in a bright, light blue with a fabric used for neckties. This design features Tamagotchis from the original Tamagotchi and the New Species Discovered!! Tamagotchi series woven into the fabric. Since this material is normally used for ties, it feels smooth to the touch and has a silky finish.

Rendered in a colorful pixel art style, these Tamagotchis evoke memories of caring for them nearly 30 years ago.
They are each striking their own unique poses, and simply looking at them lets you imagine how they would move.

But wait, what do I see among all of the Tamagotchis? Could it be a new member, newly discovered on this Hobonichi Techo: the Techotchi?! Techotchi has a charming pink beak that can hold a pen, and small triangular and square feet. Seems like the Tamagotchis just got a new friend who looks just like a Hobonichi Techo.

The cover has been constructed as a light hardcover book with some give to it so it still bends.

Included with your Tamagotchi series techo are some Tamagotchi themed clear stickers. Among your favorite Tamagotchis, you will find the Meal, Snack, Heart and Poop icons, as well as some designs for the different seasons. Use these stickers to freely decorate your techo spread!

We have also prepared the Hobonichi Pencil Board 90’s Tamagotchi in the Weeks size, which fits the cover perfectly. We recommend using these together to fully immerse yourself in the world of Tamagotchi.

In addition to the techo, we have prepared a variety of stationery and other items in the Tamagotchi lineup, which you can use for a variety of activities.

We hope that just like a Tamagotchi that you take with you and care for everyday, you will be able to use this techo with love and thoughtfulness in the upcoming year.

When you order this Hobonichi Techo Weeks, you’ll receive a clear, adhesive corner pocket you can stick anywhere you like.

The book uses thin and light yet durable Tomoe River paper. It's characterized by its ability to hold ink well and provide a smooth writing experience.

The Weeks book has space for writing in plans or journal entries, and it also has 71 pages of grid paper memo pages in the back (75 pages in the English edition). The back of the book contains bonus pages, including Memories 2026 and 12 Switches to Help You Focus.

If you’d like storage space or a way to change up the look of your Weeks book, you can customize your book by pairing it with a Weeks cover.

About Tamagotchi

Tamagotchi was released on November 23, 1996. This "handheld care toy" became a big fad mainly among high school girls. We will continue to grow and develop our “Tamagotchi” to be loved by everyone!

Press marks or shines may appear on the corners

You may notice press marks, slight whitening, or a glossy finish on the corners of the front and back covers. These are unavoidable results of the binding process.

Pattern alignment varies by product

The patterned fabric has not been aligned to a specific layout, so the placement of each design will vary by product. The product will not be an exact replica of the one in the product photographs.

Use caution around sharp objects

The material in this product snags easily on sharp objects, so please handle with care.

About the paper used (techo)

The Tomoe River paper designed for planners is known for its thinness and smooth writing surface. However, depending on the type and amount of ink or pen used—as well as environmental conditions—some ink may bleed through or take longer to dry. We recommend testing your pens on an inconspicuous area first, or using a pencil board or blotting paper for best results.
