MoominTo the Outdoor Dance HallWeeks Hardcover Book / Weekly Horizontal / ENG or JPN edition / Jan start / Mon start

  • 2026 New

The Moomin series was created in 1945 by Tove Jansson—Finland’s beloved author, painter, and artist. Set in Moominvalley, the stories follow the gentle and curious Moomintroll; the dream-chasing and romantic Moominpappa; the warm-hearted and nurturing Moominmamma; the mischievous and strong-willed Little My; and the freedom-loving, solitary Snufkin—a cast of unique characters embarking on delightful adventures. This Weeks techo brings the beloved world of the Moomin stories to life.

The cover features a scene from the novel Comet in Moominland, where the characters discover a sign that reads “This way to the outdoor dance hall!” The illustration highlights the charm of each character’s form and preserves the delicate linework of Tove Jansson’s original art. Set against a pale blue background with navy lines, the design has a delightfully charming color combination. The hardcover is semi-rigid with a finely textured surface.

The 2026 on the cover is stamped in silver foil, using a typeface inspired by Moomintroll’s tail.

The spine is a soft orange, which peeks out from the front and adds a cheerful accent to the design.

Pair it with the pencil board, which features another scene from Comet in Moominland, for an extra touch of charm.

There are plenty of other Moomin items in the lineup, including stationery designed to match the cover.

Let this Weeks, filled with the whimsical charm of Moomin illustrations, bring a sense of wonder and excitement to your year.

Press marks or shines may appear on the corners

You may notice press marks, slight whitening, or a glossy finish on the corners of the front and back covers. These are unavoidable results of the binding process.

About the paper used (techo)

The Tomoe River paper designed for planners is known for its thinness and smooth writing surface. However, depending on the type and amount of ink or pen used—as well as environmental conditions—some ink may bleed through or take longer to dry. We recommend testing your pens on an inconspicuous area first, or using a pencil board or blotting paper for best results.
