Woven fabric in which many threads are combined vertically and horizontally to create a stunning pattern — the Lined Fabric series is designed to create different patterns through diverse weaving techniques.

The Cousin size cover uses a twill fabric created by navy and gray threads. The stripe pattern on a strong and supple denim-like material gives it a three-dimensional look with a variable weave. You might also love how the material smooths over time.

From a distance, the pattern looks like simple stripes, but you will see the series of finely arranged diagonal thread patterns distinctive to twill weaving.

The piping around the edges of the cover also has diagonal lines created by the weaving. It shapes the design and accents it.

Inside of the cover is a light, comfortable fabric in tight navy. The card pockets have a striped pattern created with the same twill weaving as the front side.

The two bookmarks are made with wide ribbons in red and navy, with the tips cut at an angle.

The cover is simple and profound, and its joy will last for a long time. Gaze at it, touch it, and savor it.

They are not just stripes; they are woven lines

The “Lined Fabric” series is debuting in the Hobonichi Techo 2025. These covers allow you to enjoy the patterns of lines created by the weaving technique.

Seeing the photo, some of you may think that it is a stripe pattern with straight lines.

When you hold it in your hand, however, you will notice the fine herringbone pattern on the Original size cover and the denim-like twill fabric on the Cousin size cover. You will feel the difference in color, size, and pattern.

The red HOBONICHI tag is an exclusive feature for this series, giving you the delight of vintage denim.

The woven fabric is comfortable, and the pattern never gets old. We hope you will use it for a long time.

Cover may contain variations in stitching or loose lining: Due to the structure of the cover that opens flat 180 degrees, exterior stitching areas may appear puckered and lining material may be loose.

Pen holder fits pens up to 13.5 mm wide: The pen holder is designed to fit the 12.2 mm (0.48") diameter Jetstream pen offered as a free Hobonichi Store Exclusive Bonus. Pens with certain shapes and materials may be difficult to pull through the holder. The holder can fit pens up to 13.5 mm (0.53") in diameter.

Color transfer may occur due to friction, pressure, or moisture: Color may transfer to other items through friction or prolonged contact. This risk increases when the cover is exposed to water or sweat, so please take extra care when carrying it near clothing or other belongings.
