This is a cover with “butterfly-stopper” pen holders made of classy, deep yellow leather. The Italy-made leather is soft to the touch, and the fine grain on the surface creates contrast and depth.

We named it “Brilliant” Yellow, hoping the user’s year will be full of happiness and brightness like the overflowing light.

The leather for this cover is “Dollarino,” a chrome-tanned leather produced by Monfrini Pellami. This long-established tannery, founded in Milan in 1898, has produced four generations of leather for fashion and accessory items. The leather is characterized by its touch, volume, and beautiful coloring unique to this traditional Italian tannery.

The interior pocket includes the Hobonichi logo in gold foil.

Each cover has its own unique take on the texture and character.

The Hobonichi Techo leather covers are made with all-natural materials that have their own unique appearance. Every leather cover is a one-of-a-kind, all-natural product, so you can feel good knowing your cover is the only one like it in the world. As a cover with a “butterfly-stopper” pen holder, a standard for the Hobonichi Techo covers, we designed this one to be in a delightful, beautiful color.

We chose a rich yellow color that is not too flashy yet bright. The leather has volume and a unique touch, giving it a luxurious feel only Italian leather can provide. The grainy texture creates contrast and depth, adding an extra touch of elegance. Users of all ages will love this cover.

Pen holder fits pens up to 13.5 mm wide: The pen holder is designed to fit the 12.2 mm (0.48") diameter Jetstream pen offered as a free Hobonichi Store Exclusive Bonus. Pens with certain shapes and materials may be difficult to pull through the holder. The holder can fit pens up to 13.5 mm (0.53") in diameter.

Leather may contain preexisting wrinkles and marks: In order to allow customers the enjoyment of all-natural leather, the leather is processed in a way that retains its original feel. This may leave imperfections visible on the surface of the cover, such as wrinkles, scratches, stains, or vein marks.
Depending on the conditions in which the cover is used, natural oils of the leather may emerge and appear as stains. We ask for your understanding for these naturally-occurring characteristics of genuine leather.

Color transfer may occur due to friction, pressure, or moisture: Color may transfer to other items through friction or prolonged contact. This risk increases when the cover is exposed to water or sweat, so please take extra care when carrying it near clothing or other belongings.
