Techo team members will be talking about sales information,
their recommended stationery, usage examples, and more.
Hello everyone. Today brings the daily Hobonichi Techo Kaigi 2027 posts to a close. Boy, what a month.
The items I’m eyeing are none other than the ONE PIECE magazine series, released today, October 1st!
It’s already been five years since that surprising day when One Piece — a favorite manga I’ve read continuously since my student days — unexpectedly turned into a Hobonichi Techo!
In order to spend every single day in 2027 alongside quotes from One Piece, the techo I’ve chosen is the HON: Very Very Merry!
The Going Merry design is a perfect fit for the Year of the Sheep, and that striking, bright orange color is gorgeous.
You can see the HONs from 2024 and 2026 in the background. I like how they get more personalized with through wear and tear as the year goes on.
Personally, I also have a strong emotional attachment to the special bonus pages I helped design. First up is the “Timeline,” which neatly organizes the intricate, intertwining plotlines of the story!
Then there’s “30 Very Specific Things We Love About One Piece,” featuring a curated selection of iconic scenes gathered from all of your submissions on X and via email! No matter how many times I read these pages, they’re so amazing.
Now then, what about my other techos and stationery, you ask...? I’m sure I’ll end up buying more later, but for now, I’ve decided to get all of the One Piece themed items for 2027!
Sticky notes, pencil boards, clear files, and sticker sets — this release is packed with super practical stationery items. They look like they’ll be great for daily use and will make writing in my techo even more fun.
And on top of that, the Small Drawer Pouch “DON!” — featuring ONE PIECE icons designed on bold red tie-fabric — is so cool. Let's try packing it with both previously released stationery and the new stationery items that launched today!

... Look at how much fits inside!

Even after putting in bulky items like the Don!! Stamp and the rotating stamp, the zipper closed smoothly!
The clear files also fit perfectly into the back pocket!
When you unify everything like this the colors and tone align so seamlessly that it looks incredible. It feels almost like a treasure chest stuffed with all kinds of stationery. All the details are compiled on our special feature page, so if you’re curious about the One Piece themed items, please give it a look!
With that, the Techo Kaigi 2027 series comes to a close. There are so many choices that it’s easy to get lost, but we hope you all find your perfect techo partner for next year!

Hey! It's
from the techo team.
In 2026 I used three Weeks, a HON (A5 Size), and a 5-Year Techo.
In 2027, I plan on taking a break from the HON and continue with the three Weeks + 5-Year Techo combination.
Over the past few years, using multiple Weeks has become my standard routine. Here are the three books I chose for 2027!
Believe it or not, this lineup features the exact same three favorite colors I’ve been using all along: yellow, silver, and black. This will be my second year for yellow and silver, and my third year for black!
I love what I love — and sticking with what feels right is just so comforting. (Though I secretly deliberated over Hello Kitty this year...!)

I used the Leather Silver Weeks back in 2023, and I loved its smooth, supple texture and subdued silver tone so much that picking it again was an instant decision!
Currently, I use the Taut (Gray & Light Blue) cover for my work Weeks.

Since both are leather, I hesitated for a second, but I really want to carry my pens and small accessories along with my book. So for next year, I’m using them together in a luxurious “leather-on-leather” setup!
This year I’ve been using Black Gingham from the Paper Series, so when the new Black Argyle was announced, that was another instant choice!
It has a slightly different expression compared to previous versions, giving it an even more understated, mature feel.
I also use a ring-bound planner for my personal life, but since that one is a bit heavy, the thin, lightweight Weeks is just unbeatable for carrying around!

2027 will mark my third year keeping a fan activity journal! My routine has settled nicely, so it's a fun journal I've surprisingly been able to keep up.
Since I’m not particularly diligent about writing long entries, the compact Weeks size fits me perfectly.

This year’s Canaria Yellow is a soft, gentle shade of yellow that is just so cute! memories.
In addition to schedules, I log delicious meals I ate while traveling for concerts and record merchandise I bought (a spend-log, if you will!), filling the pages with wonderful
Lately, I’ve started using the Alettone cover, and I love how lightweight it is while holding so much. Plus, slipping my favorite items into the front pocket means I can see them whenever I want!

Inside, I tuck a Hobonichi Card Case to hold more photos, cards, stickers, and a railway map that comes in super handy during concert trips!

A Weeks is just so versatile with endless ways to use it. If you’re like me — not naturally inclined to write long entries, but wanting to separate different aspects of life — I wholeheartedly recommend giving it a try!
Look forward to tomorrow’s techo kaigi post, too!

I'm Aizawa from the techo team. Here's the techo and items I picked!
I started a 5-Year Techo in 2027, and am in my third year, so I decided that I'll only buy a Day-Free techo this time. I'll be using the Folio: Ocean Blue Day-Free cover that
designed.
Ever since I caught a quick glimpse of this design on
’s computer screen, it had been lingering on my mind the whole time!
First off, the color palette is stunning — I absolutely love the combination of blue with the orange bookmark. The cover fits the techo book like a glove, and it even comes with a band for carrying a pen. Since I love keeping everything compact, it felt like it was made just for me.
And as items to use alongside my book, I picked a pencil board and stickers!
For my pencil board, I selected Akiko Miyakoshi’s Sunny Day. Through dappled sunlight, a parent bear and cub are watching a cat sitting by the window.
Looking at it evokes a nostalgic, bittersweet feeling that completely captured my heart.
For stickers, I chose Shinsuke Yoshitake’s Plans More Important Than Work stickers.
When work gets busy, I tend to prioritize tasks over everything else. But deep down, I admire a balanced lifestyle — resting properly when resting, and working hard when working!
I plan to use these stickers on days when I decide: “I am NOT working today!” (Which is, conveniently, the exact concept behind the stickers!)
I actually went shopping for these at the “Hobonichi Techo Store — Tokyo Station Branch,” which opened inside JR Tokyo Station on Wednesday, September 16th.
Store manager Kitada loves these Shinsuke Yoshitake stickers so much that she told me, “I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve bought them!”
While entry required an advance reservation right after the grand opening, reservations are no longer needed now. The initial rush has calmed down, so please feel free to drop by whenever you’re passing through!

It's Fujimori from the techo team. I can't believe September is already about to end...
Even though this is my fourth year using the hobonichi techo, I still haven’t found the definitive answer to what kind of techo suits me best. However, I feel like I’ve finally figured out what kind of techos I actually want. As it turns out, I enjoy watching my collection grow by one of the same techo every single year!
△Not many techos, but I'm already starting to feel happy.
Every now and then, I gather the same books together, stack them up, and just admire them — from above, from the side, from every angle — offering a little "nice."
Yet, inside those techos, most of the pages remain blank and unused.
...Well, it can’t be helped! Even if I don’t manage to use my techo to its absolute fullest, I simply love them. I love the feeling of holding one, so it's only natural I buy them...
So while coming to terms with that feeling — and while still harboring a desire to fill every page next year — I decided to unabashedly embrace the pure joy of collecting my favorite techos from now on!
△I always want to carry a vibrant color with me, so I think I'll keep buying red techos too.
Here's what I plan to buy for next year...:
1. Hobonichi Techo Book Planner (that I've bought every year since 2024)
----
2. Colors: Poppy Red Weeks
In the 2025 edition, I bought Colors: Chili Pepper Weeks, and its bright red hue added such a wonderful accent to both my belongings and my mood. So for 2027, I’m getting Colors: Poppy Red!
----
3. Bow & Tie: Sheep Sheep Sheep (Drawer Pouch Pocket)
In 2026, I carried a Drawer Pouch featuring the Horse — my own Chinese zodiac sign — and felt somehow protected and blessed with good fortune. Plus, above all, it was so delightfully easy to use! It occurred to me that carrying a pouch themed around the year’s zodiac animal (whether it’s your own sign or not) might be a great tradition.
So I’m starting a new routine: collecting zodiac Drawer Pouches! Which is why I’m getting Bow & Tie / Sheep Sheep Sheep!
△It you look closely, all these sheepies are laughing.
△It's small, but you can fit an surprising amount in there. It holds it's shape really well too, so you can fit everything you want.
Lastly, while this isn’t a collection item, here’s a new challenge I want to try: starting a 5-Year Techo!
A while ago, someone I met through Hobonichi taught me a few valuable tips about the 5-Year Techo:
・The first year isn’t that exciting to write in. It becomes infinitely more fun starting in Year 2, so just push through until then!
・Using a different colored pen each year makes the pages look colorful and fun.
・A single sentence is plenty. Just writing “Went to X place” is enough. Facts alone are completely fine.
△ A 5-year long diary has a kind of defined presence...
△I plan to change the colors each year... Hang on, this might be fun.
With such encouraging advice, how could I not give it a try?
Reading the article from fellow Hobonichi crew member Hirose using their 5-Year Techo gave me that final push, too. So I’m adding a Large 5-Year Techo to my purchase list as well!
And with that, my techos for next year are pretty much set!
With only a few months left in 2026, there are plenty of things I haven’t gotten around to, but at this point, I’m not going to fret about it. I just want to spend the rest of the year peacefully and in good health!

Hello! This is Komugi from the techo team. Ever since early summer, I’ve had the opportunity to see and touch the new techo lineup in person, holding internal techo meetings in my head while going about my work.
After endless deliberation, I kept thinking, “A weeks is just so cute... I really want a weeks!”—leading me to decide on getting my very first weeks for 2027. However, I prefer things having practical value above all else, so I'm not the type who is happy to buy something "just to leave it on display." Unless I can settle on a specific, concrete way to use something, I can’t bring myself to buy it with genuine enthusiasm. That’s just who I am!
Yet, by keeping the thought “I really want the Weeks!” at the top of my mind, ideas naturally started floating up, and I was finally able to purchase a Weeks for 2027!
While I haven’t picked up every item on my list yet, here is my 2027 techo team lineup as it stands right now.
■My first Weeks

In 2026, I used a Cousin for my daily journal, task management, expense tracking, exercise logs, and even a dream diary as part of my sleep tracking.
Although I managed to keep up with it every single day, one thought had been lingering in the back of my mind: “I rarely look back on the entries I write each day...”
While I’d occasionally reflect in a loose notebook, that book contained so many other random thoughts that it was hard to see my own progress, which didn't help with motivation.
That’s when I hit upon the idea: why not use a Weeks specifically for weekly reflections? Since it displays an entire week across a two-page spread, seeing personal growth and changes at a glance would be so much easier!
Reflecting on what I recorded in my Cousin inside my weeks, and then applying those reflections to the following week’s pages in my Cousin — I’ve accidentally created quite an incredible cycle for myself! If I stick with this routine, by the end of 2027, I feel like I might actually turn into a dignified adult!

Out of the entire 2027 Weeks lineup, I chose Yoshie Watanabe’s Petit Bloom for its perfect blend of cuteness and elegance. Just having this book sitting on my desk when I wake up in the morning makes me feel like, “Hey, maybe I’m living a pretty nice life after all?”
Since I haven’t finalized the exact layout and format yet, I plan to take my time thinking it through until January.
■Continuing with my Cousin

Since I naturally have a very narrow mental capacity, I tend to run out of physical and mental bandwidth quickly. Because of that, I’ve been using my techo almost as a survival strategy — for physical and mental maintenance, organizing my thoughts, and adjusting tasks.
In 2027, while continuing to use it as a daily maintenance techo, I also want to try my hand at collaging!
Seeing colorful, beautifully decorated techos posted on social media used to make me feel a bit discouraged since I felt I lacked the bandwidth to do it myself. But after creating a sample page for work, I thought, “Oh? I might actually be able to do this!” So I plan to attempt collaging on weekends or whenever I have spare time.
■Stationery Pairing

・TSUKI no IRO: Index Pockets

Because I want to cultivate an unwavering positive mindset, I took inspiration from Airi’s positivity techo and started logging three things daily: HAPPY (a joyous moment), THANKS (something I’m grateful for), and DONE (a good deed I did that day).
Since I write them almost daily, I log about 30 entries a month, so I plan to curate the absolute best Happy and Thanks moments of each month onto these index pocket cards!
Whenever I’m feeling down, looking at these cards and telling myself, “Hey, life’s actually pretty great after all!” sounds like such a wonderful thing to have.
・TSUKI no IRO: Add-on Sticky Notes
I use the weekly diary pages of my Cousin for task management, but I always had a faint anxiety that I’d eventually forget to rewrite uncompleted or postponed tasks on new pages. By consolidating tasks that require checking onto Add-on Sticky Notes, creating a safety net where I can think, “As long as I check here, I’m good!”, I can prevent missed tasks altogether. In addition to physical and mental maintenance, I hope writing in my techo next year will help me feel even more everyday joy and delight!
Only a few team members remain in our Techo Kaigi series! Look forward to tomorrow’s post as well!

Hello! This is
from the techo team.
With so many exciting new items releasing again this year, I couldn't make up my mind, so i tried focusing on the core question of “Who do I want to become in 2027?”, here is what I decided on!
First up, my main techo cover is Glow: Chianti.
Over the past year or so, I noticed a change in myself: whenever I saw a well-worn leather cover, I’d think about how stylish and cool it looked. I also felt that people who lovingly use an item for a long time are wonderful, and a growing longing welled up inside me: I want my very own leather cover that I’ve broken in until it’s soft and well-loved!
Since leather has its own distinct individuality piece by piece, after ordering it from the official Hobonichi Store, I was so excited waiting for it to arrive, wondering what unique characteristics my leather cover would have.
And then! When it arrived, my heart beat fast as I opened the box and took it out of the bag. Facing the leather cover at last, it truly had its own unique personality, and I felt so thrilled knowing I’m going to age and nurture it myself from here on out.
Even the little marks are delightful expressions of the covers originality.
For my personal life, I had long been a loyal user of the Cousin size and A5 HON. But the moment I laid eyes on this cover, I knew I wanted to carry it around everywhere and write in it casually — so I switched to the Original size this time!
As for daily journaling, I started a Large 5-Year Techo last year. So to organize my thoughts and freely jot down ideas as a loose notebook, I decided to pair this cover with an A6 graph paper notebook.
The Moomin design and the notebook’s color palette complement the cover beautifully, soothing my mind every time I open it. Thinking about all the hands that went into crafting this piece, I plan to treasure and care for this cover deeply for years to come.
ーーー
As for stationery, I picked up the items I knew I had to buy even before their official release!
The Hello Kitty Stappo, whose design I fell in love with at first sight, paired with the perfectly matching Hobonichi Techo Mini Keychain in Red!
Both share matching red and yellow accents for a cohesive look, so I knew I wanted to attach this keychain no matter what!
To show off how cohesive they look, I tucked the Mini Keychain right inside! What do you think?
Just like
, thinking about how everyone will invent their own unique arrangements and uses for items like the Hobonichi Techo Mini Keychain makes me so excited, and I want to try out my own creative setups, too!
Another item I immediately decided to buy after seeing it in person was the V&A Sticky Note Set!
The design is so elegant and beautiful that just looking at it brings pure joy. It uplifts your mood when writing, and anyone receiving a note written on it would be thrilled!
I tried sticking one onto the very first page of my graph paper notebook. Just doing this makes the page look so polished, and it matches the cover wonderfully! My imagination ran wild: writing goals on the sticky notes, then using the surrounding grid page to record my thoughts and action steps toward them.
Plus, it fits right inside the front pocket of the stappo! I can’t wait to use it a ton.
Since there are still plenty of stationery items on my wishlist while I carefully evaluate their uses, I’ll keep holding my internal techo meeting!
By the way, I'll be using the ONE PIECE HON for the third consecutive year! Just a little longer until the October release—I can’t wait!
Look forward to tomorrow’s Techo News update!

Hello, it's Mizunoya from the techo team! Recently, I've been conducting techo kaigis in my techo, on my phone, even in my head... yet I still can't decide. Regardless, let me introduce what I'm thinking about.

■Work Techo
As a camping enthusiast and longtime fan of Natal Design, using the Hello New Day! (Retro Stripe) Cousin cover was locked in a long time ago.

Originally, I intended to use this cover as a stay-at-home book. But I reconsidered: if I’m using such a durable Natal Design cover, wouldn’t it be a waste not to carry it everywhere and put it through its paces...? So I decided to use this cover for my primary work techo, which I carry around the most! Inside, I plan to use a Cousin avec.
Just a few days ago, I was thinking, “I’ll use the Weeks for work,” but thanks to (or because of?) this sudden epiphany, my techo kaigi was thrown right back to square one.

■Anything-Goes Techo
To be honest, I’ve been saying “I want to try using a Planner someday!” for the longest time. I had never picked one up before because I couldn’t decide on a specific purpose, but for 2027, I’m making my Planner debut as an “anything-goes” notebook where I can write absolutely whatever I want! For now, I’m thinking of using it for input logs, morning brain dumps, and illustrated monthly calendar diaries. Since the interior design is so sleek and simple, I’m considering keeping my stationery choices strictly monochrome to match.
It looks stylish enough on its own, but V&A’s cover caught my eye, so if it gets restocked, I’d love to put one on...

When the planning team members
and
told me the meaning behind the William Morris quote printed inside the pen loop, I felt an overwhelming urge: “I MUST have this cover in my home!”
Have nothing in your houses that you do not know to be useful or believe to be beautiful.
and
wrote about this in their Techo News posts, too, right? I strongly agree with them!
■Health Management Techo
This year, I've been recording my health management on the weekly diary pages of my Cousin, but even though I write in it so much, for some reason I occasionally forget these pages even exist...
said the same thing, so I wonder if this a common experience for multi-book users? Whenever I suddenly remembered, there’d be a long stretch of blank pages that felt daunting to fill... Since that negative loop kept repeating, I’m planning to use a Weeks specifically dedicated to health tracking in 2027!
I still can’t decide which Weeks to go with... but for the pencil board, it was love at first sight with Akiko Miyakoshi’s “Lazy Morning”!

When I first saw it, it looked so soft and fluffy — I could almost hear gentle breathing or feel a pleasant breeze blowing through the window. Imagery of the space just flooded my mind, and no matter how many times I look at it, I love this artwork. It feels like the absolute perfect pencil board for a health tracking techo.
I’ll take my time choosing the Weeks book itself!
■TV Drama Journal
This year, I’ve been recording my thoughts on TV dramas in a Moomin graph paper notebook. Since I haven’t filled it up yet, I’ll keep using the same notebook. Moominpappa agonizing over a theatrical script while Moominmamma watches over him anxiously is just so adorable. Even after looking at it almost every day for a year, it still feels fresh and cute!
■Diary
For my journal, I’ll continue using my 5-Year Techo. I’m trying not to paste too many paper items into this 5-Year Techo, so whenever something comes up that I want to paste, I’ll save it in the Collect & Collage: Pasting Notebook.
I’ve already started using Collage Stickers (Pocket) to paste paper items I picked up during a business trip to Korea. I can already tell it’s going to be a total game-changer...! I love how just arranging and pasting things makes them look so wonderful.
And that’s where my techo kaigi stands right now!
Just a few days ago, I was choosing entirely different items, and I haven’t even finished picking out my stationery yet. As I read through everyone else’s Techo Kaigi posts, I have a feeling my choices will keep shifting back and forth... But I’ll enjoy the process and take my time mulling things over until the end of the year!

Hello! This is Yoshida from the techo team. I’ve already purchased my work techo, but I am currently right in the middle of a serious techo kaigi with myself — all about the Weeks!
■Weeks
Here are the four contenders catching my eye!

Even though I’m usually a Cousin user, these four colors are just so me that I’m completely torn. Seeing them lined up together makes them look even cuter — I want every single one!
To be honest, I have no idea what I'm even going to write in it (haha).
But essayist Yuka Nakamae, who used to work with us on the techo team, once said: “You can always figure out how to use it after you buy it!” and “If you like something, you can just put it on display.” which makes me feel like everything will work out somehow!
At first, the cool Noble Silver had a slight lead, but when I lined it up next to the Kakimori × TSUKI no IRO Frost Fountain Pen, I realized: “Hang on, this with the Forest Green is so cute!!” — and I was thrown right back to square one. Urgh!
Since some colors are currently pending restock, I’ll wait patiently while mulling over my choice.
■HON
And here is my work setup!
The V&A Series: Vine HON (A5 Size) and the matching Pencil Board.
Looking at other crew members’ techo meeting posts, it seems a lot of people picked this exact HON! I had also made up my mind early on: “This is definitely the one for me this year!”
The way the pattern wraps seamlessly around the spine is subtly sophisticated. Looking up close, I also can’t get enough of the texture where faint underdrawings remain visible.
Just like
William Morris’s words struck my heart like a bolt of lightning:
Have nothing in your houses that you do not know
to be useful or believe to be beautiful.
These words helped me declutter immensely! If I see this quote every time I open my techo, I feel like my surroundings will stay beautifully organized throughout 2027!
The TSUKI no IRO: Translucent Sticky Notes (Tiles) feel like the perfect item to solve my struggle with monthly calendars. Because work schedules change constantly, I always hesitate when writing directly into monthly calendar grids. Since these are sticky notes, you can stick them on and peel them off, which makes me feel so much more relaxed! If plans shift, you simply move the note to another day. The colors are so cute, and just sticking them on makes the whole page look neatly put together.
Look forward to tomorrow’s Techo News update, too!

Hi everyone! This is Asako from the Hobonichi Techo team.
Today I'll be holding a Techo Kaigi for my work techo!
After using many different types of Hobonichi Techos over the years (I think I used most items in the lineup), I’ve come to the conclusion that for work, I need a layout where I can see a bird’s-eye view of my weekly To-Do list, much like the weekly pages in the Weeks or the weekly diary in the Cousin.

I wanted to challenge myself with a different techo, plus I wanted to go a little bit more compact, so for 2027, I’ve decided to try another option that lets me see an entire week at a glance: the Weekly Calendar.
I used an A5 size HON in 2026, so this feels way more compact in comparison.
I experimented with a few different ways to make everything fit, and this is the format I finally arrived at.
I’m using it sideways!
While a part of me wants to use it in its standard vertical orientation, turning it sideways gives me longer lines that fit my tasks perfectly, so I think I’ll stick with this method for now.
At the same time, I’m aiming to learn a bunch of abbreviations to compact the To-Do lists themselves.

But actually, I have another situation going on that makes this whole “downsizing” plan feel a bit naive...
And that is...

There are just too many techos I want, so things are far from compact right now.
If things keep going at this rate, I’ll end up using five Original size techos, four Cousin size techos, and six Weeks books. Will I be able to figure out a specific use for each of them before 2027 arrives?
With just 100 days left until 2027 arrives, I plan to keep on enjoying my Techo Kaigi for a little while longer.
Well then, I hope you look forward to tomorrow’s update!

Hello! This is Annen from the techo team.
For 2027, I’ve decided on these two setups:
For Work:
■Yoshie Watanabe: Petit Bloom A6 Original Size Techo Cover
■Hobonichi Techo 2027 Japanese Original Avec
For my private life
■Colors: Poppy Red Weeks
■Yoshie Watanabe: Clear Cover for Weeks (Dotted Plaid)
For Work
I’ve loved Yoshie Watanabe’s designs for a long time, so choosing this techo cover was an instant decision! While it has a chic feel, each flower has a unique shape, and when you look closely, there’s a stylish, edgy quality to the design that is just so cool! I also love that it’s made from a woven fabric rather than printed cloth, giving it a luxurious, high-end feel.
And an item I knew I had to carry alongside this techo was the Hobonichi Techo Mini Keychain (affectionately known as “Techo-key”)!
▼I put matching stickers on the cover.
Inside the Techo-key is a tiny mini-notebook that you can actually write in, despite its size! I’m planning to pair it with KurePunch (Postage Stamp) to create a mini photo album.
Since I decided to attach the Techo-key to the cover’s pen loop, I’m using the Hobonichi Pencil Board for HON to carry my pen instead!
Naturally, choosing which techo to use is fun, but exploring new possibilities through stationery pairings really expands how you use your book. I had so much fun figuring out which set to assemble!
Inside my Work Techo
Since the cover is so compact and sleek, I chose the slim Avec book so I can carry it around stylishly without bulk.
In 2026, I used a Hobonichi Blank Notebook (A6). While I loved how freely I could write in it, I eventually missed having dates and grids as guiding anchors, so for 2027, I’m returning to the page-a-day style.
▼This my notebook from 2026. I liked testing prototypes and new pens, as well as drawing in it.
Also in 2026, alongside the Plain Notebook I used for work notes, I carried around a Fireside Chat Notebook (B7) to use as a mini scrapbook.
▼Here are some wrappers from snacks I received in the office. (That's Hirano-san jumping out on the right.)
I really love this routine, so I plan to continue using a Fireside Chat Notebook with a different cover design!

I loved how seeing my red cover in 2026 gave me a surge of energy every time I looked at it, so I chose a red techo again for 2027!
Pairing the Colors: Poppy Red with Yoshie Watanabe’s Clear Cover (Dotted Plaid) creates a fresh, adorable look! Since you can also slip stickers or cards under the Clear Cover, customizing it bit by bit over time sounds so fun!
Inside my private techo
Every year, I use my personal techo as an “input journal” to record books I’ve read and exhibitions I’ve visited.
I tweak the format slightly each year. In 2026, my style was drawing a title and simple illustration on the left page, and writing small-font impressions on the right page.
(My mini-theme for this year was “pushing myself to put thoughts into words.”)
▼I stuck a bunch of tickets and leaflets in, so it's got a nice chunk.

By the way, I stuck little thumbnails of different media I consumed in the monthly calendar.
▼It's so easy to see when it's laid out like this... and you can see it's all on weekends...
While I used to love filling pages tightly with plain black ballpoint ink, I feel like brightening up my pages in 2027, so I’m going to try using the Kakimori × TSUKI no IRO Mini Ink Bottle Set and Frost Rollerball Pen!
(Having the Blotting Paper on hand gives great peace of mind when using ink!)
Changing the ink color each month is sure to give my entries a fresh vibe and make writing even more enjoyable!
And for my pencil board, I selected the V&A Series: Museum Stereographic Photograph, which feels tailor-made for an input journal!
Since this post would get too long, I couldn’t write about everything here, but there are still so many other items catching my eye, like the Pasting Notebook and Pocket Envelope...! I’m going to take my time deciding as 2027 approaches.
Look forward to our next update!
